I grew up in Maine, and have a bachelor’s in Computer Science and a master’s in Publishing.

All the education sounds nice, but my husband and I still didn’t do a very good job managing our personal finances. We ended up going through Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University (FPU) and began the hard process of getting out of debt and getting control of our money. Down the road, we started facilitating the FPU classes at our church, and began working with people who wanted more guidance. Eventually I completed Ramsey Solutions’ Financial Coaching Master Training so I could work with people going through what I did. I have a heart for helping people who are struggling financially, since I’ve been there myself.
